A day to discover — and celebrate — the good that our Philly-area grocery co-ops do for our local food system and communities.

Celebrate with us!
Vendors * Raffles * Specials * Co-op Swag

Commemorating the day, Kensington Community Food Co-op, Mariposa Food Co-op, South Philly Food Co-op, Swarthmore Co-op, and Weavers Way Co-op will host a day of showcasing local vendors, hosting raffles, and other special deals. Kensington Community Food Co-op will host a food truck and more!

Every October, National Co-op Month celebrates the community contributions and positive global impact of co-ops everywhere. The five co-ops in and around Philadelphia have more than 16,000 co-op members, support more than 400 employees, and source products from more than 500 local businesses. Mayor Jim Kenney has recognized Philadelphia as having one of the most thriving grocery co-op marketplaces in the country.
